Innovation – RTÉ Digital unveil innovative Lidl Christmas campaign developed in-house

The ‘Breakout’ ad format provides the ‘wow factor’ for Lidl’s Christmas campaign on RTÉ Player.

RTÉ Digital in collaboration with Lidl Ireland and Mediaworks Ireland, unveil the ‘Lidl Christmas campaign’, via the ‘Breakout’ ad format on Ireland’s most popular catch-up service, the RTÉ Player.




The creative idea for this campaign was designed and developed in-house by the RTÉ Digital Commercial team. “This innovation, which can be totally customised, provides an immediate high-impact brand statement and instantly engages the audience”, said David Fogarty, RTÉ Digital Commercial Coordinator & Ad Operations Team Lead.

“This format, provides a strong visual differentiation around the brand and an immersive experience for the audience while at the same time driving a higher level of brand-recall as a result”, said Mary Corcoran, RTÉ Digital Ad Operations.
