Innovation – RTÉ unveil innovative L’Oréal Paris campaign developed in-house

RTÉ Media Sales – Digital, in collaboration with L’Oréal Paris and Maxus unveil the “Elvive Luminiser” campaign, via a custom-built VPaid Breakout Ad Format on Ireland’s most popular VOD service, RTÉ Player.

Elvive is Ireland’s Number 1 shampoo with Luminiser being the most recent new addition to the range. Whilst the overall campaign objective was to communicate the entire range of Elvive products and how there is one to suit every woman, there was a focus on Luminiser to highlight this new product launch.

RTÉ’s digital division worked with Maxus to deliver standout for this new product.

“The creative idea for the digital element of this campaign was designed and developed in-house by RTÉ’s digital division in collaboration with L’Oréal and Maxus. The goal was to increase engagement and bring TVC to the next level. This ad runs in sync with the TVC and includes a number of overlaying elements to break out the format on RTÉ Player. Primarily focusing on lighting effects and enhancing the product we successfully demonstrated the benefits of this new product range”, said David Fogarty, RTÉ Media Sales – Digital Commercial Coordinator & Ad Operations Team Lead.

Gemma Walsh, Account Director, Maxus, said “Working collaboratively with the RTÉ Media Sales – Digital team resulted in us achieving a highly impactful ‘break out’ VOD format for L’Oréal Paris.  Most impressively, this was created and built by the team solely from our TVC. The VPaid breakout ad format successfully demonstrates the ‘shine’ benefit of the new Luminiser product”.

Interaction rates to-date are hugely impressive which highlights the deeper brand connection made with the viewer.
