RTÉ unveil innovative media first campaign for Electric Ireland and MediaVest

For the launch of Electric Ireland’s new Nest product, the RTÉ Media Sales – Digital team designed and developed a suite of creative that also delivered a media first, assets were supplied by Electric Ireland’s creative agency, Cawley Nea.

The Nest Learning Thermostat allows you to control the temperature and create a personalised schedule for your home.

This media first was achieved by combining creative types – A Billboard with companion MPU were seamlessly synced together by an Overlay – to highlight the ease to which this device can be controlled. “This innovation creates a highly immersive advertising experience and instantly engages the audience”, said Treasa Maguire, Account Manager, RTÉ Media Sales – Digital.

“Formats such as “synced overlays” provides advertisers with greater choices around audience engagement, but more importantly promotes user interaction and drives a higher level of brand awareness” said Jennifer O’Mahony, Senior Client Manager, MediaVest.

Early engagement rates are very strong, showing 90% uplift on market benchmarks.
